Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School has had it’s fair share of media coverage With @humansofmsd, WMSD news, The Courier, and more recently, The Cold Beak. As of this week, Douglas Newspaper has acquired the Twitter account “Eagle Eye MSD”. Many students are starting to wonder “wait is Douglas really that interesting?”

After checking out the new page, we at The Cold Beak can only watch as our innovative ideas are stolen from under us. We take our jobs very seriously, and we do not take a liking to two “Douglas’ Premier News Source”. Some would claim imitation is the best form of flattery but when their copy’s goal is to steal our readers it ruffles our feathers. “We definitely didn’t steal from you at all” added a newspaper student as he typed our bio word for word into their own. The Courier doesn’t recycle it’s paper but they definitely recycle our ideas.

Creativity is natural in all people, but it obviously vanished from the good folk at The Courier.
